Seeing Beyond the Obvious: The Details Walk with Jon Fischer

Challenge your eye to uncover the hidden rhythms of the square — patterns in brickwork and shadows, reflections dancing in windows or puddles, repeating textures in architecture, and visual echoes that connect one scene to another. This walk is all about slowing down and noticing how shapes, lines, and light interact in surprising ways. It’s a creative exercise to train your brain to “see” beyond the literal and begin composing images that lean toward the abstract — photographs that reveal how beauty often hides in plain sight.

Guided by his philosophy “Where Nature and Art Meet,” Jon seeks out the world’s most artistic forms and captures them with an artist’s eye. Through his platform, Fischer Photography, he shares not only his striking imagery but also educational resources and insights to help photographers of all levels grow their craft and deepen their appreciation for the landscapes around them.
